Be It Resolved

One of my many New Year's resolutions--and one I won't mind a bit--is to spend more time in New Orleans. Proximity sometimes has a dampening effect...that, and the fact that I don't like driving (I was mentioning to someone the other day that while I've got a decent car, I still have a lousy-car mindset, and it affects my driving habits. And THEN you've got to deal with traffic, drivers behaving like idiots, etc. Sadder still is that pretty much ANYONE you talk to says they'd take the train...if there was a train.)

Anyway...off to visit with a friend who relocated to the city last summer. Here's hoping this is the beginning of a trend. In the meantime...Friday cat blogging without Photoshop...and time for me to hit the road.
