"Collateral damage" like this probably explains this.
And...you know, the more I contemplate Israel's excuse for the offensive, the less justified it seems. If they wanted to stop Hamas rocket attacks, it's a virtual certainty they could have done so some time ago. Let's stop mythologizing "poor little defenseless Israel." It's a mature, sophisticated nation--it has to be, given the politics of the region. The Israeli military and intelligence apparatus are absolutely blue-chip/first-rate...in fact, it would not surprise me if they knew as much about Hamas rocket attacks as some elements of Hamas itself.

Conservatives are now brushing off the Schiavo case to use it against Thomas Perrelli, President-elect Obama’s pick for the no. 3 spot at the Justice Department. Right-wing websites are outraged at Obama’s association with Perrelli, since he was one of the lawyers who represented Michael Schiavo, who wanted his wife’s feeding tube removed.
Knock yourselves out, wingnuts...and I mean that sincerely.
