Sure, it was very good that a civilian was able to kill the perpetrator without hurting anyone else.
But three fatalities and two more injured isn't a success. Stopping the shooter was a relief.
The victims will forever be victims.
If an armed society was a polite society, there would be no road rage.
And we've become so numb to this thing I'll be very surprised if it's still in the news cycle a week from now.
