Just sort of a recollection, but I vaguely remember when the press seemed to embody at least some elitist librulism.
In my mind, it seems the modern journalistic knee bending to and ass kissing of the wingers started post-Watergate...kind of a self-assessment/penance, even though Dick Nixon was on tape committing a felony, and even though Howard Baker, for no good reason, became the "Good Republican."
Anyway, that kicked into
super high gear after the attempted assassination of Ronaldus Magnus.
Between that and cynic/psychopathic/toxic creeps like Stone, Manafort, Atwater, Gingrich, and the entire operation, they haven't just put their stamp on DC and federal power (even as they claim to hate, just hate Warshington Dee Cee, hmm, same with how they hate, just hate the librul media even as they play it like a cheap fiddle)...no, not stamped.
They've chiseled it into stone.
And that's a big reason why we're so fucked. Repugs can say or do just about anything.
Dems, not that they're much better, but Dems constantly have to play defense.
To a press that's, well, bullshit, they're constantly in disarray...and of course they are: the media's (GOP) sources all agree.
