What About Afghanistan?

I expect over the next few or more news cycles there will be quite a bit of finger pointing, carping, moaning, and whatnot, all directed at President Biden and his administration, with a librul (pun intentional) helping of Democrats in disarray "analysis."

Fuck 'em all.

The war was lost the day it was started, and if there IS any actual concern for translators or other support staff, women, etc., then we should have organized an evacuation -- and accepted emigrants and refugees -- the minute an agreement was reached about the withdrawal of forces.

But Afghanistan, Iraq, or even the alleged War on Terror isn't about any of that. Al Qaeda, Saddam Hussein, ISIS, and so on, are proxies.

What they want is blood.

They'll take any blood, but they're really gunning for those they define as domestic enemies.

This isn't real good.

Have as nice a weekend as you can.

Democrats In Disarray

OK, I lied.

But if there'd been a Democratic equivalent of reversing/backpedaling, or otherwise rescinding a policy, ill-advised or not, you can bet it would be headlined across all news media, including the allegedly librul wing, with panel discussions in anger on the right, and more-in-sorrow-than-anger from what's considered the left...

Instead, watch for DeSantis's flip-flop to be noted, then ignored, then forgotten when Politico or some other outlet of the savvy sings his praises just in time for the next election cycle...

How About "Death Race: 2024" For A Slogan?

Of course, both are strictly junior varsity once the Grand Dragon MAGA announces, but they've certainly got the The-Cruelty-Is-The-Point part down.

Already Baked Into The Cake

A 1.5C rise in the average global temperature will likely cause 10 to 30 inch rise in global sea levels...by conservative estimates.

Enjoy the new coastline

And speaking of baked, the Pacific Northwest's dealing with another heat wave, just in time for peak forest fire season.
