I'm always amazed at the naivete of the winger/libertarian persuasion with regards to just how much power corporations actually have and how quickly they will fuck you over while demanding the full protection of the law as interpreted by the multiple attorneys who are not even on retainer, but paid employees. No, the market doesn't by definition self-correct...because in this case it's not really the free market at all...

First, it's NOT at Ground Zero, or even really in sight, second, it's NOT a mosque, but a cultural center on par with a first rate YMCA, and last but not least, who the hell is Gingrich or ANY wingnut to lay claim to ANYTHING in New York. They've made a career of trashing the sort of multiculturalism and tolerance as exemplified by The Big Apple, and claiming Ground Zero as theirs is as ludicrous as John Rocker hopping on the Number 7 Train.
