I find it kind of incredible, and not in a good way, that Justin Mohn, who allegedly murdered then beheaded his federal-government-employee father -- and posted a full-on QAnon/MAGA rant on You Tube that apparently included some pretty explicit evidence -- has fallen out of the news cycle faster than Kathy Griffin's very poor attempt at satire a few years ago.

Oh, I'm sure there's a reason...

MAGA Versus Reality

 

Following up from yesterday's post, it's not like the MAGA faithful can be persuaded in any way, so it doesn't make any sense to try. 

I guess we just have to hope enough, um, whatever you want to call them, casual/low-information/undecideds get a clear enough look at reality, which they won't find on Fox television.

I thought I'd re-read Run Susskind's 2004 essay that featured the infamous/anonymous-quote-but-I'm-guessing-it-was-Karl Rove line about the reality-based community versus the empire builders who create their own reality.
