If ANY Democratic candidate had delivered a speech like this you can bet the elite media wouldn't be doing everything possible to normalize it. 

Hell, if TFG chose Lecter as his running mate, I would not be at all surprised if the same elite press insisted there were upsides, though offhand I can't think of any myself...and if they were likewise at a loss, there's always, take your pick, Biden's age, Hunter, or even a generic "but the Democrats blah blah blah..."
