Another example of the asymmetry of the political press. Mike Lee promoted an obvious and batshit insane, absurd allegation...and while the elite media covered it, it'll be gone in a news cycle or two, and basically forgotten.
If a Democratic politician made an equally absurd allegation--or just made a mistake/gaffe/or whatever--it'd be the first line of his or her political if not actual obituary.
