Friday Cat Blogging With Photoshop
From Album3

Baseball Opening Day (plus one) edition.

Ironically, the picture is from the closing game, minus one, of the 1969 season -- Ron Swoboda making a pretty damn good catch of a sinking Brooks Robinson lined shot. That said, the 1969 World Series is sort of an opener: my first recollections of baseball, which I ended up playing for a number of years in Little League and high school.

But no, I'm not going to cue up the Glory Days video (geez, but Bruce looks young). Instead, I'm just going to wish you all a good weekend.

Breaking News
From Album3

OK, I'm being a little unfair on that...unfair to cobras, who'd certainly gag at the thought of association with Mitch McConnell.

But it's late, and a busy couple of days. Maybe not phoning it in, but I hope I can request a little slack...call it a late birthday celebration (one week ago...and damn I'm old).

Catch you tomorrow. Oh, here's the real story, for anyone wanting to learn about the snake. If you want to see what McConnell did today, maybe do a google search for reptile.

Your Papers Emails Please
From Album3

Rachel Maddow had a great segment this evening on exactly how not-so-limited alleged limited government conservatives actually are...from blanket demands for email to pee-for-a-paycheck drug testing.

It's not online yet, but well worth watching if you didn't see it this evening...
