And neither Manchin nor Sinema wins. 

At best, maybe -- maybe -- they prolong their careers a bit longer at the expense of  the public they were elected to serve. 

Or maybe they get washed out like everyone else who doesn't pass the ever crazier shibboleths that define MAGAstan and its citizenry...

Maybe It Should Be Considered Newsworthy

Sure, I'd much rather see, oh, I don't know, as deep a dive into DJT's systemic corruption (maybe pretend it's an email management controversy...just saying), but actively creating a Horst Wessel figure to further, um, essentially fascist political aims -- and with pretty much the entire GOP going along for the ride -- might merit more than cursory mention.
