The last week's been an object lesson in how things really work--IOLIYAR forever, but Democrats are perpetually walking on eggshells, with the added bonus of gratuitous infighting. 

Personally, I doubt a change in the nominee would be good at this stage. Like it or not, go with Joe. 

Besides, before reporting to jail, Bannon said something about TFG and the Repugs fearing a new top-of-the-ticket. When they say stuff like that, they're lying.

If you really want to panic, there are way worse things to worry about than Joe Biden's age and mental capacity...like, for instance, the other guy's age and mental capacity.

And his plans.

Am more worried about that than whether Biden needs a nap now and again.

OK, perhaps a little much, but if this really is the beginning of the end, then damn them all to hell, especially given who they're bowing down to.

Not a Bond villain, not even Nixon, but a huckster who, with more than a little help from the usual suspects, has defined the politics of, geez, almost the last decade. We live in the Era Of Trump, which is likely to turn out a lot like Trump Steaks.

And that just raises the absurdity to eleven.

At least Nixon had an actual intellect, evil and despicable, sure, but someone you'd expect knew how to read and comprehend a briefing paper. 

Twisting the fundamental values of the government to suit the whims and crimes of TFG is the Tesla Cybertruck of SCOTUS decisions.
