Prince Of Peace, Born To Kill

From Album 5
Ex-general Jerry Boykin sure has an...interesting...interpretation of Christianity.

  1. Good grief. I had thought, hoped, that old Boykin had faded into the woodwork where he belongs. Just glad that when I was a Marine, we did not have any officers like this clown. We did not "frag" our officers, that was the Army, but they had many draftees, while the Marines were almost exclusively enlistees. Had my buddies and I had such a fool as our CO in Vietnam, we may have fragged his sorry ass, just for GP (general principles). By the way, General Principles and General Electric were names we gave to certain officers, along with things like Captain Kool-Ade and captain Crunch. Yeah, radio guys did have some extra time on our hands often. We had all sorts of odd nicknames for some of our superiors.
These far right religious nuts can be very dangerous. Need to keep a close eye on them. They twist their own religion to such absurd ends, no wonder people are leaving all religions. Well, that fact that every religion is just a bunch of stories helps the decline as well. OK, I promised to not push my own philosophy, so enough of this comment. No offence intended. I DO respect honest religious people, but the likes of Boykin are just nuts, dangerous nuts.

  2. Yes, I'm amazed at how they've distorted the religion to justify, in no particular order, violence, selfishness, individualism...their inner eight year olds,,,
