Solar eclipse edition. When I was five years old and living in Virginia,
I remember this one, though I had to stay in the house...and being, you know, all of five years old, thought it just meant an unfair early bedtime. Well...you can bet I'll do everything I can to
witness the 2017 eclipse, and. if possible, the
2024 one as well.
Have a good weekend.
I have never been in a position to see with my own eyes a solar eclipse. 2017? Well, I might be here for that one, maybe. I'd like to see one in person not just film or photos of them. One other thing, I'd like to see, the Aurora, either northern or southern. Fat chance of either though. Just the thought of trying to get past the TSA to fly anywhere ends that.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend, it may not be a heavy rain, I hope.
Damn...forgot to sign in...my comment is gone. Anyway, was just saying I saw the aurora once in Madison, and it looked...more like weak heat lightning than anything else. Thought it was my own bad luck, but recently came across an article that says that's what it looks like pretty often. Only long exposure cameras bring out the vivid colors...
ReplyDeleteAnyway...the weekend was ok over here...rain, but managed to get the yard done before it arrived.
Hope your weekend was ok. Take it easy.
