Count me with Charles Pierce on this one. Elizabeth Warren was trying to put an ugly smear to rest, not make any claim to special status. End of story, total story. Move on.
But the where-are-the-Republican-heroes-press and their enablers in the Democratic Party (the latter always ready to form up in a circular firing squad) are gonna do their thing every time.
Meanwhile, the new normal is the fucking President is an accessory after the fact to, ahem, murder.
