At this point of course Trump could claim he stormed the beaches on D-Day, roughly two years before his (unfortunate) birth.
And of course his core supporters would go along. They're a cult, and Trump's message is that of a cult leader. Truth, in any objective sense, is meaningless. It's whatever DJT says.
