I'm sure the media will dutifully report The Big Lie and subsequent purge of any/all suspected heretics is now central to the Republican brand--or something like that--without the slightest consideration of how their reporting enables this.
But if it was Bill Clinton's personal infidelity, or Hillary Clinton's emails...that'd generate weeks of coverage, and maybe even unique theme music.
Christ, pun intended. The rise of fascism is just another story in the news cycle.
By the way, I only noticed this today. Can you imagine the uproar if this was, I don't know, a Black Lives Matter protester?
