Yep, the media's busy tweeting the obituary, when they're not busy proclaiming it on television.
Because why be actual journalists when you can tweet GOP talking points/gossip more or less verbatim while setting up the Zoom lights for another round of punditry?
And yeah, I'm not real happy watching Joe Manchin preen while Mitch McConnel smirks...and Biden chases his own windmills in search of the extinct moderate Republican. But goddamn, after a generation of the same story -- Dems in disarray, Real-Americans-populating-our-rural-diners-love-[insert GOP flavor of the month], etc. etc. --I'm fucking tired.
No wonder Trump sailed through in 2016. It was the logical step in a world of fake news.
