Time to break out the empty box of (empty) Thought & Prayers again, with a special acknowledgment to asshole Greg Abbot, who announced, wrongly, that the victims were all undocumented.

His spokesperson also mentioned the shooter's status, though, just thinking out loud here, a halfway decent background check system might have flagged the suspect before he could obtain an assault rifle.
