From "too [African-American] religious" to "Marxist" in barely a few weeks...
It really is amazing, although not in a good way, to watch the wingers abandon any and all logical pretense with their mudslinging...and equally frustrating to watch the media do little more than play contest judge in determining the "effectiveness" of what I guess could be called "Son of Swift Boat, The Sequel."
And then you've got the Hillary/Lieberman wing of the Democratic Party going along for the ride...which maybe ought to give everyone a good idea of just how limited the acceptable range of political debate really has become...
