Ah, the wisdom of the sage...more seriously, could there be a cabal who's sheer ego sense of self-worth is more inverse in proportion to their actual effectiveness?
To draw a rough analogy, they're like the guard/watchman who demands recognition and a raise for having slept through the robbery, but not before making sure the door was unlocked and wide open.
So you've "kept" another attack from happening--which isn't true unless the anthrax attacks weren't an attack, in which case the logical question is just what WERE the anthrax attacks? People died, after all--anyway, why would Al Qaeda NEED to attack again? Seems like they accomplished their main objective...
