A word of advice to Ted Stevens and his enablers--first, to cite of all people, Antonin Scalia: Get Over It.
Second, you want someone to commiserate with or invite to your pity party? A quick search comes up with plenty of people who've been wrongly convicted, only they didn't have the luxury of a generous salary, government pension, and improved "chalet" as a second home.
Most don't even have a first home...because, often for years, they were housed in prison cells smaller than your bathroom, Ted.
Many can't even qualify for compensation absent special acts of the various legislatures in States where they were unjustly imprisoned.
If I were you, Ted, I'd thank my lucky stars that the only people who were bigger lying sacks of shit than yourself were...the people who prosecuted you. Getting off on a technicality is nothing to be proud of.
