    One might expect southerners to KNOW that. Or, am I asking too much? After all, they are supposedly Americans who are behind this deal and we know the state of the education system in good old America. Yeah, piss poor and not always the fault of the teachers, they can teach to the "standards" set by the school boards. Now maybe some will understand better why I refer to this country as 'Merikkka. Just sayin'.

    Sad to say, but I'm not that surprised they DON'T know MI is Michigan...I was talking to a friend about Eastern Europe today and we both noted that while our geographic recall of the region could definitely use a refresher, the fact we even knew more or less what countries are IN Eastern Yurp and more or less what borders what is...unusual by USA standards...
