Looking over the proposed "fix" from my slightly-less-disappointing Senator, well...OK, I suppose...but it's still sort of like insisting that if you don't actually want your car to run, why not buy a Yugo? It'll sit in the driveway or garage as well as anything (and the old joke is that there's a rear window heater/de-icer because it helps keep your hands warm while you push it).
