Well, this figures. After all, the nine "supremes" have already said these multinational corporations are people, they have "freedom of speech", that is they are free to buy elections. Thanks for that Citizens United deal there "supremes". Now they have "religious" rights. Figures. Oh boy, well all I can add is; 'Merikkka, what a country. Oh, I tried to comment on the Friday post. Oh, I forgot to add. I had read that post by Rude Pundit the day before you posted the link. I agree with him 100%. Turn about IS fair play. Let's see if they can take the heat. Bets they'll' cry real loud about how unfair it is to protest against them. More double standards? If they can't take the heat......they need to stay away from fires.
Oh, you can bet they'd cry foul the second anyone tried to do unto them...and just watch how they do their utmost to carve out strictly fundie Christian and/or Conservative Catholic beliefs while denying the same rights to others.
By the way, while it's not a central tenet, Sharia Law has severe restrictions on abortion...does that mean anti-choice laws could be challenged? Probably not, but only because logic WILL get thrown out the window. For instance: if legal personhood begins at conception, does that mean a miscarriage has to be investigated for, at the very least, negligible homicide? How nice to grill a presumably grieving family (after all, some people CHOOSE to have children, and sometimes tragic complications occur...)...again, it's something I've mentioned before: a juvenile versus grown-up view of the world. Grrr....
