I don't know the facts and obviously didn't witness it, but if the allegations have any truth...holy shit. And, not to equate in any way, but some time back I had an encounter with one sworn to protect and serve that was...well, I was riding a bike and ordered over the loudspeaker to "get that bike on the sidewalk where it belongs." Which is actually not where it belongs, but I wasn't going to argue...

I can very easily imagine the cop making a similar command...but find it truly scary that anything short of immediate compliance is met with lethal force. That's...not a free state.
