Ah ha! A movie reference. I saw what you did there. Quite well if I may add. Yes, no doubt all of us are "shocked", "shocked" that there "may" be a bit of corruption in FIFA. OK, that should be my sarcastic limit for today. Yes,the injection is working. It has every time, so far. Apparently my bones, in my spine at least as that is what she was treating, are deteriorating faster than "normal". What ever normal is. I suppose she meant that for my age, my bones appear older. Well heck, I knew that back when I was 35. I went to see an orthopedist for my knees. I had a rather big surgery on my left knee, high school football injury. They removed the cartilage and off I went, after six weeks on crutches and 3 times a week of PT. Any who, at 35 both knees bothered me. The doctor enters the exam room with my x-rays, looks at me, then at the films, back at me and asks to see my medical card. When I asked what the problem was, he replied that while I was 35, due to my birthdate, my knees looked like those of a 70 year old man. My right shoulder is eaten up with osteoarthritis also. In 1994, my big time back surgery, that surgeon told me I had major bone and disc problems and would need meds/treatment for life. Well hell, I never learned how to quit. Dad never told me that nor did the Marines, so I keep going as best I can. Sorry to ramble on so long. Told you I talk too much. Even more so face-to-face no doubt. I am a good listener also by the way. Long ago I was taught that a good talker MUST be a good listener as well. Else all you are is a long winded blow hard. Hope I never devolve to that level. Have a great weekend Michael. Sending and ear rub and a treat for Tigger.
Good the injection is working. Sorry about the physical issues.
I'm guessing the knee surgery was not arthroscopic, though even that's got its issues. Wow -- I remember when I was a kid how the medical profession and especially the TV shows (Marcus Welby, Medical Center) suggested they'd fix it good as new...I'm guessing pro football also benefited from that assumption. But...
Anyway...yeah, old FIFA got caught. And it likely won't mean much. Hell, compared to FIFA, the NFL is probably the poster child for ethics. Not big finance, though: and just to show they're even more powerful than soccer or football...no one of any note got indicted.
Figures.
Well, back to stuff over here. Busy Monday...but it worked out. Let's hope the rest of the week is nice and slow.
