Hope the day off was fun. I found it just a tiny bit odd that the CBN guy didn't really react much at all to what Trump said. Many of the comments under the linked article were quite good in my opinion. I suppose when one gets a huge bank account handed to you by daddy, you figure some doG meant you to be rich. And yet, this clown (Trump) is still leading in the polls. Wow. 'Merikkka, what a country.
Deep down, Trump's probably not that much different. They also subscribe to...oh, what do they call it? The Prosperity Gospel, or something like that? Watching them go apoplectic over Pope Francis espousing what was pretty much standard Xtian boilerplate, i.e., try to be a little less sociopathically selfish, speaks volumes: they don't even want to pay lip service, and lip service...ok, and some nominal acts of charity, are ALL that get asked. Amazing. More amazing is that the barest minimum would go a LONG way in ensuring their status as elites. But they're willing to risk killing the goose that lays the golden eggs -- and the global financial markets -- just to get a few more dollars to play with.
Sociopathic doesn't even begin, come to think of it.
The off days were ... appreciated. I need the rest. No, this isn't stressful, but I'm no young kid myself, and have to, you know, prioritize, especially since I've got to look out for myself and the orange cat. So...it was nice.
