The United States is eighth out of eight among G-8 countries when it comes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Not only does that demonstrate a level of cynical greed completely at odds with basic principles of Christian charity, but it's dollar dumb on multiple economic levels to boot. Pretty much everyone short of yer Rush Lamebone fans recognize that the growth industries of the future WILL be environmentally sound. It simply makes. no. sense. to cling to antiquated methods and practices.
In related news, Russia--RUSSIA, of all places--gave Team Bush a big fat nose tweak, saying we're "in no position to lecture other countries on how to conduct their affairs." Medvedev is referring to the dismal economy...but now much the same can be said re: this administration's policies and actions related to human rights.
