A riddle, wrapped in a mystery, etc., doesn't even begin. Hell, even literal truthers, best as I can tell, don't
claim the pyramids were granaries. I don't know what troubles me more: Carson himself, or that a plurality of GOP voters think he's presidential material...
Oh no. Not that tired old story about Joseph and his coat of many colors and the granary crap again. And now this flow is ahead of Trump? Man, that clown car called the elephant gang has gone off the deep end. How low can they go?
ReplyDeleteThinking good thoughts for Mr. Tigger.
P.S.
ReplyDeleteJust for clarity, I don't care that Trump no longer leads in the polls, he is also a huge joke. I wish the Peace and Freedom party were on the ballot in Louisiana. Yes, I know, their candidate will have little to no chance of winning, but at least they gave me another, decent choice.
Hope your weekend goes well.
Well, have a good weekend as well. Tigger's fighting on. He's one brave little guy.
ReplyDeleteAs for the nonsense that is Trump and Carlson, well, that's why I'm a little short on sympathy for their supporters. They've been badly fucked over, but they've been going along for the ride at least somewhat willingly, i.e., in exchange for a chance to hate and despise those whom they perceive as their inferiors. In other words, they're the suckers that are born every minute (PT Barnum didn't actually say that, but I'm sure you've heard the line).
And even as they get fucked over and over again, their loyalty lies...not with truth, but with tribe. So, they'll careen from Trump to Carlson to Cruz to maybe Rubio...rinse, repeat. As a more famous former blogger and now Twitter poster who goes by the name Billmon notes, Carson's theory might well make him even more popular with that crowd.
Christ...pun intentional.
Take it easy.
