Nice photo. Tigger fits in great. On my fotki site; public.fotki.com/bear4751 in the album Alexandria I have shots of the Jackson street bridge. In the album Pineville, are some shots of the railroad bridge. Both raised with a tug and barge going under them. Different days of course. The Pineville shot, the tug/barge are header down river. In the Alexandria album they are going up river, most likely to the port of Alexandria. My wife found some photos of the Red online. Maybe farcebook, but could have been KALB TV 5 in Alexandria. Michael, Go to thetowntalk and on their web site they have photos of the Red River flooding in our general area. A good shot of the Jackson Street bridge from the Pineville side. Nice parking there by the flag pole. They may have one of the railroad bridge as well, I have not gone through them all yet.
Well, took a look today at your shots and the Alex Town Talk's coverage...and, nothing at all on the BR paper's website. Sadly typical. Out of sight, out of mind, even though I presume the Red at least feeds into the Mississippi. But, then again, they ignored the shambles that was/is the State budget, too.
Hope this doesn't get too out of hand.
Otherwise, actually had a dry weekend over here for once. Got a few things done, and more prepped for next Saturday. Meanwhile, back to stuff. Time for Tigger's evening treat.
