From 2012 -- he ended up doing quite the number on the sofa. So it goes: if you share the house with a cat, furniture will get clawed. But he'd also just sleep, like in this picture.

    Very nice photo of Tigger. I still have a good many books about cats. I always enjoyed their independence, plus, we became convinced that cats know everything. They'd be willing to share that information with us, but since we cannot speak cat, well, they just look at us humans and wonder how on earth we have managed to last this long. Oh, they do appreciate the fact that we know how to use a can opener, soft food, usually tuna, is always welcome by most cats. Hey a few rips in the furniture is a sign of a well lived in home……LOL. What we do for our cat friends. As the saying goes, dogs have owners, cats have slaves.
    Yes, the weekend here is going to be in the mid to upper 70's even. Of course it gets cooler next week. Well, enjoy it while we can. Cheers.

    Haha--for a totally different reason I ended up buying a cheap electric can opener -- the box advertised a knife sharpener, and I thought maybe a wheel was attached to the back like one my parents had years ago. Nope. It was a cheap ceramic slot...useless. But...never used it for tuna, and Tigger never caught on. However, he'd hear me pull the regular opener out for opening tuna, and I could barely pull the lid. Oh did he ever like both the fish and the water. It was an extra special treat, and a lot of fun watching him make a beeline towards the can.

    Ah, the good times.

    Well, nice day over here, weatherwise...not so nice on the news front: Dardenne's talking about massive cuts. Hope I'm not on the cutting edge, as it were.

    Take it easy, obviously a slow day for anything but nonsense Iowa news...
