But...yeah, a kind of busy day again, and Jim DeMint did slither out from his Heritage Foundation sinecure to sidle up to the Trump bandwagon. A pile of other usual suspects joined him, including Bob Livingston, Newt Gingrich, and Tom Cotton...which provides more than enough explanation...I bet you could smell the stench all the way in Falls Church.
Well, at least the weather was good enough for you to get some work done this weekend. We got a bit of rain Friday afternoon, also Thursday after we got home from shopping.
ReplyDeleteOld Trump just keeps on rolling. He may wind up as POTUS unless things change drastically and soon. If he does, I'd almost (heavy emphasis on almost) be tempted to buy into some religion. At least then I'd have some imaginary doG to pray to. On that subject, I have a good one for you, cannot say who said it first, I've seen at least two different sources as the original. When I was a kid I prayed to God for a bicycle, never got one. Then I stole a bicycle and prayed for forgiveness. Yeah, I am an old heathen/pagan. I can tolerate any religion/religious person UNTIL he/she tries to make me believe as they do. Our (ig) Nobel piece prizident has his 'red lines' (I also call him the drone king). Well, I figure I can have my own red lines and being told what/how to buy into any doG/religion is a biggie of mine.

Nice joke...well...will be short, because I still have one more work thing (which I can fortunately do from here at home)...but damn, the puke funnel will be particularly rich with wingnut rhetoric after the attack today ... funny how it was "Old Europe" back in 2003...true, that was mostly aimed at France and Germany, but I doubt the howler chorus can or even wants to make the distinction... well...

And c'mon, it's not like this country doesn't get more than sufficient violence...but of course, it has to be a certain violence to make the wingnuts howl...
