Friday Cat Blogging With Photoshop

From Album 5
Iberia Parish Court Buiding edition...actually a very nice example of Art Deco construction. Meanwhile, in the Parish...something just isn't right.

Have a good weekend.

  1. Funny how this young man was handcuffed, hands BEHIND his back, yet managed to use a hidden gun(none found on him when patted down) and kill himself. Now, this mat sounds a bit racist, it is NOT meant to be, it is intended to be sarcastic, OK? OK then, here goes; those young Black men sure are tricky folks. See, it is intended to be very sarcastic towards the idiot cops who want me to buy this bull crap story of a young man who is handcuffed, hands behind his back, gets a gun they failed to find when they patted him down, and kill himself with said hidden gun.
Sorry bud, I am nearly 67 years old and did NOT just fall off the old turnip truck this afternoon. Go back, check the evidence, and then, tell us the whole TRUTH. Got it there police? You best have it. Bloody hell. How damn stupid do the police there think we are? Give me a break fellas, not all of us as as absolutely stupid as you seem to be. Most of us quit buying into fairy tales ages ago.
A federal investigation seems warranted, but with the track record of the US Justice(??) Department in recent years, I wonder how much actual investigation they might do. 'Merikkka, what a country.
Have a great weekend Michael. Hi to Tigger.

  2. And it's apparently not the only instance of this sort of thing, because a gallows humor term has been coined -- Houdini Homicide. But gallows humor sometimes isn't very funny.

Well, to change the subject to something less depressing, Tiggs returns your hello with a hearty meow. Hope you had a good weekend. Over here I mostly avoided football season and watched some episodes of Deadwood, which comes with Amazon Prime these days (yeah, I bought in, but it IS useful for some stuff, including...catfood). Anyway, I'm a bit of a sucker for Westerns, I guess, though the show probably tells us more about the present than the past...and just my .0000002 cents worth, but seems to me it says we're living in...mean times...

    Take it easy.
