Friday Cat Blogging Without Photoshop

From 2Millionth Web Log
This is from summer 2008, so Tigger would've been just about a year old.

Right now he's still looking quite tired -- guess that's a side effect of the chemotherapy -- but he continues to eat and is doing as good as I guess can be expected. As I've said before, he's a good -- and brave -- little guy.

Anyway -- changing the subject, you've probably seen this, but if not.

Damn. Hope it works.

Have a good weekend.

  1. Michael,
Thanks for another non-photsopped photo of Mr. Tigger. Yes, he is one very good looking cat. So happy you gave him a forever home. Bet he is as happy as you are to share his life with you as you are to share your life with him. Best wishes to you both. Yeah, those cats get to us, the cats who shared time with me were just like my own kids, had I had any human kids.
Oh boy, that ad really cuts to the real diaper Dave in my opinion. Well, hey, it is all about his own personal priorities after all. As a former US Marine/Vietnam vet, I'd never attained any gathering where the likes of diaper Dave would be at, let alone listen to him speak on any topic at all concerning veterans. Well, as with stupid, hypocrisy tends to keep amazing me. What I mean is when I think I have seen the absolute limit of hypocrisy and/or stupidity, some clown, (Vitter in this instance) comes along and tops what I thought would never be topped. A supposed quote from old Albert (Einstein) goes like this; there are only two things that are infinite. The universe and human stupidity. And I am not so certain about the universe.
Here is my wish, that diaper Dave chokes on his own hypocrisy/arrogance/hubris. Yes, I have become somewhat vindictive in my old age and infirmary. Hey, when you are old and physically broken, watching these hypocrites get hoisted on their own petard gives me some laughs.
Have a great weekend and best wishes for good health for Tigger and you.
Rainy weekends don't get me down. LOL, I'd have to get up first….LOL. This last was not totally sarcastic, mostly realistic these days. Old age is not for the squeamish.
    Cheers.

  2. Re: Vitter, yeah, Edwards's ad left a hell of a mark. Good. Dave's trying to play Mister Nice Guy in response -- you've probably seen the ad -- but that's not something he's capable of...which means he's hopefully in deep shit,

Kudos to whoever the opposition researcher was who discovered it.

As for Tiggs, he back to the vet tomorrow -- another round of chemotherapy. Right now he's asleep on my lap and arm, so I'm typing with a single hand...but I'll happily do that for as long as we get together. Again, thanks for your kind thoughts. Tigger really is family for me.

As for his condition, well...it's ok, at least right now. No distress, thank heavens. He seems a little tired, of course, but that's expected, I guess.

    And...Einstein was right smart.

    Take it easy.
